Our process
The process of getting a dental crown begins with an examination and treatment planning, followed by tooth preparation, where a small portion of the tooth is removed to create space for the crown. An impression of the prepared tooth and surrounding teeth is taken, and a temporary crown is placed to protect the tooth. The impression is sent to a dental laboratory, where a custom-made crown is fabricated. During the final appointment, the temporary crown is removed and the permanent crown is checked for fit, color and aesthetics before being permanently cemented onto the prepared tooth.
